Northern Territory
Northern Territory of Australia located territory in the central and central northern regions of Australia, is composed of the Red Centre Destinations and the Top End Destinations sharing its boundaries with Western Australia. The third-largest Australian federal division, and the 11th-largest country subdivision in the world. It is sparsely populated, with a population of only 249,000 as of December 2021 – fewer than half as many people as in Tasmania. The largest population centre is the capital city of Darwin.
