More than this, Illuminations is a luxury 3D cinema and a classical music venue. The planetarium dome can send you on an epic voyage across the solar system, teach you to navigate by the stars, or show other science and natural history films, with up to four screenings on each sea day. With the dome retracted, Illuminations hosts 3D films and stunning concerts and recitals.

The steady clickety-clack of the steepest rail line in the world is part of an unforgettable experience, and provides a unique perspective on Europe’s longest fjord. The views are quite something.

The stunning Aurlandsfjord is one of the most picturesque fjords in the world. It is part of the World Heritage region surrounding the Nærøyfjord and the world’s second-longest fjord, the Sognefjord. The fjord, in Aurland, is 10 miles long and flanked by beautiful snow-topped mountains which stretch from Flåm to Mount Beitelen at the entrance to Nærøyfjord.
