Journey Beyond Rail Expeditions
The Ghan has resumed it's services departing Sundays from 30 August 2020.
The Indian Pacific is currently suspended due to Government enforced border restrictions, Journey Beyond will continue to monitor border restrictions in Western Australia and New South Wales. We hope that the Indian Pacific will be able to resume its transcontinental journey soon.
Great Southern is scheduled to commence its second season between Adelaide and Brisbane in December this year. We understand guests may be concerned about the Great Southern’s route through Victoria and New South Wales. If Victoria and New South Wales, or parts of these states, continue to pose a danger to our guests, we will adapt either our route or our experiences to protect you.

Princess Cruise Line
Princess pauses of Operations in Australia through December 12
Due to the continued progression of COVID-19 and related decisions of various governments, health authorities, and airlines regarding travel restrictions, Princess Cruises is extending its pause in cruise operations in Australia through December 12, 2020 which includes cruises throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Royal Caribbean Cruises
Royal Caribbean Cruises suspends sailings worldwide
After the decision was made on March 13th to voluntarily suspend our sailings departing from US ports, RCI has now made the decision to also suspend operations for the remainder of their sailings worldwide, effective at midnight, March 15th.

The safety, security and well-being of our guests, crew and communities we visit is our number one priority. We continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 coronavirus situation and the global health environment. With COVID-19 continuing to impact communities and ports around the globe, we have extended our voluntary temporary suspension of voyages through October 2020.
Disney Cruise Line
Disney Cruise Line suspends cruise operations
As we continue to refine health and safety protocols for our future return to service and await direction from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Disney Cruise Line has decided to further extend its suspension of new sailings. Sailings are cancelled on board the Disney Fantasy through December 6; the Disney Dream and Disney Wonder through December 11; and the Disney Magic through December 12.
MSC cruises halts operations
Our two flagships MSC Grandiosa and MSC Magnifica resumed operations in the Mediterranean, offering guests from Schengen countries full-experience cruise holidays. MSC Grandiosa started with a 7-days cruise on August 16th, while MSC Magnifica will depart on October 19th, 2020.
For all the other cruises in the Mediterranean and Caribbean we have extended our temporary halt of operations up to October 31st
For Asia cruises we have extended our temporary halt of operations up to October 26th.
We have extended our temporary halting of operations in Northern Europe through to the end of the current Summer 2020 season, affecting cruises scheduled to depart until 23 October, included.
APT cruises suspends operations
The APT Travel Group thanks all our travellers for their patience and support during this very difficult time. The safety and wellbeing of our guests and employees continues to be our highest concern and we are working hard to ensure the best outcomes for all. The following information explains the current status of 2020 tours and cruises and provides details for those impacted.

Scenic cruises suspends river cruise operations
As we have previously advised, due to the continued Federal and State Government travel restrictions and international border closures, it continues to be impossible for us to operate our schedules for guests with bookings departing from Australia and New Zealand. This has required the temporary suspension of all Scenic Group (including Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, Emerald Cruises and Evergreen Cruises & Tours) departures up to 31 December 2020.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises
Regent Seven Seas Cruises suspends cruise operations
Regent Seven Seas Cruises continues to closely monitor the COVID-19 coronavirus situation and the global health environment. With COVID-19 continuing to impact communities and ports around the globe, we have extended our voluntary temporary suspension of voyages embarking through October 31, 2020. In addition, we are suspending our Full 2021 World Cruise, along with voyages departing through April 2021 aboard Seven Seas Mariner®.
Costa is globally ceasing its ship operations for voyages until 30 September and Fred Olsen cruises will cease sailing until mid-December.
