Holidays of Australia & the World is the proud partner & supporter of the annual Unite 4 Kids fundraising luncheon,
with over $1.5M raised for seriously sick
kids in South Australia since 2015.
Unite 4 Kids was started by Ben Mead & Kim Mead,
owners of Holidays of Australia & the World, in conjunction with a great friend,
Angela Condous – AM, when their daughter, Holly, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic
leukemia (a highly aggressive form of cancer) at the tender age of six. After undergoing over
two years of intensive chemotherapy & treatment, Holly shared her insights on what helped her
during this strenuous journey. This led to the creation of Unite 4 Kids, a fundraising initiative
to raise funds for charities that support children & their families during serious illnesses such as
childhood cancer.
Holly is now 17 and cancer-free, however, Holly, Kim & Ben are determined to help
families like theirs ensure that even during some of their darkest times, children will have the support
they need!
