Next year I’m keen to visit Iceland for something totally different, which has got this crazy mix of volcanoes, hot springs, and just pure magic in its landscapes. Otherwise, I’d like to revisit Switzerland with its Alps & stunning villages and maybe add in France & Italy in there for good measure. Perhaps around Christmas time as Europe comes alive with its gorgeous Christmas markets. Or maybe I’ll visit Japan – I have never been before but it sounds incredible and combines a traditional side with a completely modern, tech side. Time will tell!

Looking at going to Melbourne with my partner to visit the Titanic Artefact Exhibition in Melbourne. While there we will make a weekend of it for a nice little short break getaway. Also looking at heading over to London to visit my brother who just moved there with his partner.

I've booked a six-week journey to explore Southeast Asia next year, with visits planned for Thailand and the Philippines. I chose these destinations due to my previous unfamiliarity with them, seeking new and enriching travel experiences. I’m particularly excited for their food, the scenery and learning about their culture.

Taking the kids to the Flinders Rangers for 17 days of off-grid camping to foster a deeper connection with nature, instil resilience, and cultivate a sense of self-reliance in an immersive outdoor environment. Pray for me haha.

8 week Europe trip! I can’t wait to explore all the different countries in Europe with a group of my friends. We are looking to start in the UK, making our way to Italy, stopping in along the way in the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Croatia, Greece, and Spain.

HOLIDAY 1 – FIJI
Hubby and I like to go away for our birthdays every year, as they are 4 days apart. For March 2024, we have selected a Fiji cruise aboard the Blue Lagoon for 7 nights and then 4 nights on an exclusive island before heading home. Just a quick holiday relatively close to home to celebrate our birthdays.
HOLIDAY 2 – EUROPE XMAS MARKET RIVER CRUISE
A Europe Christmas market river cruise has been on my bucket list for a very long time! I have now secured a cabin with Emerald Cruises from Budapest to Nuremberg and I am very excited. We’re then planning on spending some time in southern Germany before heading to Finland for a short time in an arctic igloo and activities including snowmobiling, snowshoe trekking and a husky safari and reindeer farm visit.

I haven’t booked a holiday just yet but on my bucket list is Turkey, Egypt, Jordan and Morocco. I will be welcoming the new year in Uluru as I will be hosting a Perth to Uluru New Year’s Eve private charter escape with 100 fellow travellers!

My short break destination for 2024 is time spent on a self-drive around the Fleurieu Peninsula and back through the Adelaide Hills. The scenery is beautiful, with my favourite place to swim and relax is Second Valley. There are some great food & wine choices and a stay at Lady Bay Resort would be a perfect weekend away.
My longer holiday options would be a trip back to Bali as I haven’t been for 7 years and look forward to the relaxation, catching up with friends and family I have there and this time exploring some of the areas I haven’t been to, such as Nusa Lembongan & Nusa Penida. The other destination would be a self-drive around Tasmania – I love nature and wildlife and it has always been on my list. So far it is the only state I haven’t travelled to in Australia and almost everyone I know who’s been there has such a great review of it, so it’s time to experience it for myself!
