Hobart
There’s plenty of history to be found in Hobart, one of the oldest cities in Australia, alongside fresh produce, charming side streets and the scenic Hobart waterfront with kunanyi/Mt Wellington forming a magnificent backdrop to the capital city and providing equally striking views over the city to match. The city is a vibrant hub of boutique hotels, world-class dining and celebration of all things art, being home to the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA), and a welcome and relaxed pace. Hobart is also the finish line for the annual Rolex Sydney to Hobart, the famous yacht race held on Boxing Day and an icon of Australian sporting events.
King Island
Renowned for its quality produce of cheeses, the island situated between Tasmania and mainland Australia, is famous for much more, and easy to visit with our exclusive charter. King Island boasts wonderfully fresh seafood, beef, honey, fruit and vegetables thanks to its lush pastures, in addition to producing local whisky, craft ale, gin and vodka. A visit to the King Island Distillery and King Island Dairy is a must as you learn and taste your way through some of the island’s goods. It is also home to two of the world’s best golf courses, Cape Wickham and Ocean Dunes, both oceanfront rugged experiences, with sightings of seals and whales during the game, not uncommon. The main township is Currie, set on a scenic sheltered harbour, with unrivalled views of the vast Southern Ocean. Browse the quaint main street and discover the island’s history and culture at the King Island Historical Museum, Cultural Centre and Currie Lighthouse.
