As Australian border restrictions continue to normalise (well the ‘new normal’ for now at least) we are now able to take the holidays throughout our beautiful country we had previously postponed, as we move into 2021.

Pip

My holiday plans include 3 hosted golf trips with the destinations of Robe, South Australia, Villa Beach Palm Cove and the Hunter Valley. All these destinations offer lovely golf courses and great options for tours and restaurants. Kangaroo island is also a postponed escape with friends in March 2021.

Casey

I want to travel to Tasmania. Tassie has always been on the bucket list and what better time than now to go. I can’t wait to see the stunning scenery and get out into the fresh air and start exploring.

Samantha

Red Centre is booked for February 2021. Including a journey on The Ghan from Adelaide to Alice Springs along with a self-drive itinerary to Alice Springs, Uluru and Kings Canyon.

As a family of 4 we are considering staying closer to home this year in our home state of South Australia. We may be looking at Kangaroo Island in the New Year or just some day trips to the lovely wineries in McLaren Vale or the Adelaide Hills. After the eventful year we’ve had all cooped up I wouldn’t mind somewhere by the beach for some sun, surf and relaxing!

My other ideal destination would be the sunny New South Wales coast or the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

Andrew

I’m travelling to Alice Springs & Uluru in 2021. With international borders closed I can’t get out and see the most amazing sights of the world. So, it’s time for me to explore Australia and starting with the most famous location in Australia Uluru! I’m going to catch the iconic Ghan from Adelaide to Alice Springs then drive out to Uluru stopping at Ormiston Gorge and other sights before arriving at Uluru in time for dinner under the stars watching the sun set over the majestic rock. After this holiday I think I’ll be exploring The Grampians for a bit of a camping escape.

Sarah

I am travelling to Palm Cove in Tropical North Queensland in July 2021 with my family of four and three other families that are friends of ours. We will be staying at the stunning Villa Beach Palm Cove and we are all so looking forward to a relaxing, tropical beach holiday together. It is also a part of Australia I am yet to venture too and I can not wait to see the Great Barrier Reef, Daintree Rainforest and Kuranda. My husband is also very excited to experience the fantastic golf courses there too!

Dani

I will be looking to travel to the south-west of Western Australia, as my original holiday there was cancelled due to border restrictions. I’ll be starting in Fremantle and taking some time to visit Rottnest Island. I’m very keen to visit the Margaret River region and find a nice cottage to stay in and visit some wineries. Apparently, there are some incredible restaurants out there too to try! A visit to Busselton is also on my list and walking along the famous jetty. Really excited about exploring the coastline towns such as Albany and Esperance. I’ve seen so many beautiful photos of the kangaroos at Lucky Bay so I’m very keen to visit there as well as the water is just so blue!
