The first holiday is to Greece and Turkey in March/April 2023. We are celebrating my husband reaching a milestone birthday (no number to be provided) and we’re doing a small ship cruise around Greece and then a semi-guided tour of Turkey. We’ve cruised before with this company and just loved it! And because we haven’t been to Turkey before (and it’s been on our bucket list), we thought ‘why not’!! Just a quick fly in/out holiday to Europe …
Our second jolly to Europe is in August/September 2023. We are celebrating a milestone anniversary (no number to be provided) and we’re finally going to Italy!!! We’re arriving in Venice and touring our way down to Rome including Lake Como, Milan and Florence. We then join (another) cruise with our other favourite small cruise company – Starclipper – which visits Sicily, the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento.

My plan for 2023 is to travel up to Darwin on the Ghan and see the outback in style. In particular, I’m excited to stop off and cruise between the 60 metre high walls of Edith Gorge in Katherine. While I’m up there I’ll pop in to see some family and a good friend who moved up there last year, as well as some of the local sights and attractions.

In 2023, I am looking to my long awaited return to Europe and can’t wait to see my ‘top five’ cities in the world, which all happen to be there! Then for something different, I am taking a cruise from Sydney which included the ‘Melbourne Cup’ – it’s a great way to combine all the best cruising has to offer, combined with Australia’s premier racing event.

A trip to the NT with the family. Looking to head up to the Top End to see some crocs and spend some time away with the kids. Then finally time for a honeymoon – to the Cook Islands. My wife and I have always wanted to go and relax in this amazing destination and the highlight of snorkelling in crystal blue waters. My other ideal destination would be the sunny New South Wales coast or the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

My plan is to do a 14 day Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona to Athens, covering some must see countries! Spain, France, Italy, Turkey and Greece including the islands of Crete and Mykonos. Wanting to visit a lot of ancient and historical sites.

I would love to visit England, Ireland, Scotland & Wales in their summer. Maybe a driving itinerary in England and visit places like Bath or Dorset, where the Famous Five books by Enid Blyton were based. It’d be amazing to see some of the filming locations from Harry Potter in Scotland – some gorgeous scenery out there. Japan has also on the bucket list for a number of years - will need to make a decision soon! I’ll also be visiting Parrtjima in Alice Springs, an Indigenous arts festival as well as going on the Great Southern rail journey with my mum for a couple of short breaks across the year.

Hawaii is on my radar for 2023. I haven’t been there in over 30 years and I have been wanting to get back there for a long time now! Travelling with my ‘youngish’ family, I am keen to try the Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa as I have heard lots of great things about this property. Then a stay in Waikiki for the shopping, dining and beach time and then maybe Maui to really up the relax and recharge time before it’s back to the rush of everyday life!

I’m planning to go to Darwin in April 2023 for a week with the family over Easter. It’s more about just relaxing and switching off and enjoying the sunshine.

I'm travelling to Bali in April for a much needed girls trip! I am also planning on enjoying a European summer visiting Greece, Croatia, Italy, Spain and many more. I haven't travelled overseas yet so I am excited to finally see some of the places I work with behind-the-scenes and experience new things outside of Australia.
