Economy guests enjoy a comfortable reclining seat and panoramic windows to view the beautiful scenery and a selection of quality meals and drinks are available to purchase from The Galley.

The Economy Lounge provides another retreat to mingle with your fellow travellers and enjoy the unique comradery and stories that are the added bonus of a rail journey experience.

First Class



First Class is the alternate option and what we always recommend for extra comfort. Offering the choice of single or twin berth sleepers, with shower facilities located at the end of each sleeper carriage and restrooms at the end of all carriages. Single Berths feature a wash basin, vanity mirror, bedding and towel and Twin Berths also feature an additional wardrobe and table.

First Class guests also benefit from exclusive all-inclusive dining in the Tuckerbox Restaurant with a regionally inspired outback menu, prepared by chefs, using some of Queensland’s best produce for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Shearers Rest provides First Class customers with an exclusive lounge area to sit back, relax with a cool beverage or light refreshment (which can be purchased throughout the journey), read a newspaper or just watch the scenery go by.
